Three Common Harmful Substances in Water

Before installing a water purifier, we must figure out what water pollution may be involved in the drinking water we usually drink.
1. Rust
Most of the water pipelines laid in cities use copper and cast iron pipes, and severe corrosion and rust will occur in more than ten years. Later, galvanized steel pipes are used, but they are not easy to oxidize and have a better anti-rust effect.
Excessive rust can easily cause excessive iron content, which will increase the burden on the kidneys and seriously affect human health.
2. Lead and other heavy metals
Many heavy metals such as lead will dissolve into the water during water transportation. Long-term drinking will increase the burden on the human liver and kidneys, and easily cause liver, kidney, heart, and nervous system diseases.
3. Residual chlorine
At present, the most economical and convenient way to sterilize tap water is to add chlorination. Chlorine has super oxidizing ability and can kill many kinds of bacteria.
Since it can be sterilized, it will naturally have a certain degree of toxicity. If a small amount of chlorine bleach is swallowed, it can irritate the esophagus, mouth, and throat and cause vomiting.
When you turn on the faucet, you can smell a pungent odor, which may be caused by too much chlorine in the water.
